Oddities and Easter Eggs
Throughout Project Playtime, a player may notice little details around the maps. These are a few things I personally find interesting to look at, per-map. Photos will come when I get around to it.
Theater
Catbee Carnivorism
To the very left of the upstairs seats, you can find a Catbee toy which appears to be fighting smaller Huggy toys. One Huggy is crushed underfoot, another is appearing to be eaten, while a Huggy Wuggy desk buddy is atop Catbee's head. Blue paint is smeared across Catbee's face. Potential evidence of predation between toys?
Ghost Keyboards
In the office above the lobby, you will find several computers (with default Unreal Engine textures as their screens). Interestingly, if you are up here, you will hear the sounds of keyboards being typed on, though no one is there to type. These typing sounds used to be very loud and heard from downstairs on launch, but their sound radius has been decreased in subsequent updates.
Huggy Wuggy Jingle
Occasionally, if you are in the downstairs room with the Stupid Huggy, the Huggy Wuggy jingle from Chapter 1 will play. So far, no consistent trigger has been found for it, and it appears to be clientside -- one player may hear it, but others will not.
Factory
Trapped Huggy
It's difficult to see without accidentally falling in and being respawned elsewhere, but beneath the Stupid Huggy sitting on the paint tanks appears to be a small Huggy trapped under the grates. This doesn't appear to be connected to Chapter 1 events (especially given Project: Playtime is earlier in the timeline).
Developer Art
In one of the rooms, there is a second level where you can find sticky notes. They have no relevance to the lore (you'd THINK the one talking about lotuses and radiance would have some), but they're amusing pieces of developer art. "This is HOGWARTS, oooo" is a personal favorite. These sticky notes can be found on a vending machine in the basement of the Theater, too, but they are harder to see in the lighting.
Stuck Huggy
There appears to be a small Huggy with its head stuck under a trash bin.
Pancakes
In the break room, on top of the microwave, there is a hidden pancake, addressed 'from Tobias to Aaron' -- an injoke between developers. Yummers!
Other Oddities
Meaty Bron
Every part of the giant toys appears to be upscaled from their Chapter 2 versions -- with the exception of Bron, who has recieved an entirely new model. You can see this model with a golden material in the Theater, but what's more interesting is his texture as a toy part. It looks as if everything except half of his head is made of flesh or meat. His toenails still have light blue paint, it seems.
Kind of looks like Squidward being prepped for brain surgery.
Destroy-A-Toy
Hidden Office
In the very back of the factory, there is a hidden office with a poster behind it. This poster teases three new characters for Chapter 3 - A dog, a unicorn, and a bird. This poster can be seen in the basement as well.
This office is decorated with sticky notes and a notepad, and these notes can be found elsewhere in the factory. They can also be found in the theater, in the computer room.
Map Revisions
With each recent update, there have come a handful of revisions to the ingame maps. Some appear to be fixes and others breaks.
Red Tanks
These tanks were solid colored prior to the Valentines' update. Now, these tanks will slowly fill and empty with a red substance. As of the February 22nd Hotfix patch, these have been deconfirmed to be poppy serum.
History of the Paint Blobs
After the February 22nd Hotfix patch, there are now red, white, and blue capsules floating within the tubes that go between all the zones.
After the St. Patrick's Patch, these capsules now appropriately appear as blobs.
After the Incineration Update, the blobs have been removed completely, likely due to complains about them affecting game performace.
New Train Station Huggies
Since the Incineration Update, new Stupid Huggies have been added to all maps. One will appear at the train station, to your left.
Broken Plaques - RESOLVED
These plaques next to the one Stupid Huggy appear to have had their textures broken. As of the Incineration Update, these have been fixed.
Shadow Jar - RESOLVED
The jar seems to have been removed from next to these Bron-styled paint tubs, but the developers have left its shadow in. As of the Incineration Update, this shadow has been removed.
